1. 來自福爾摩沙的現年19歲的天才音樂家李尚軒,不僅彈得一手好鋼琴,同時也精通打擊樂。當他在台上演出時,他那熟練的演奏技巧以及彈指間流露出的自信,讓人很難想像他自出生即患有先天性蠶豆症,三歲時更被鑒定為過動型自閉症及中度智障兒,語言能力發展遲緩。讀幼兒園時,還常常因為過動坐不住,無法在教室上課,一個人跑到外面玩。
2. 然而,尚軒在嬰幼兒時期即顯露出音樂的天分,並且對於車牌、號碼、時間等都有極佳的記憶力。就讀托兒所時,園長發現每當播放音樂時,尚軒的手指就會跟著舞動,彷彿在彈奏鋼琴一般。尚軒的媽媽聽了之後深感驚訝,心想也許可以透過學習鋼琴來舒緩他的過動現象。尚軒的媽媽說,兒子剛開始學琴時,沒有老師敢收他,因為他坐不住,大家都認為學鋼琴都是很安靜的人,過動兒怎可能學好?但她卻意外發現,兒子只要一碰到鋼琴就會變得專注。
3. 尚軒的音樂表現漸漸受到各界的肯定,他曾多次在大型音樂比賽中獲獎,曾是朱宗慶打擊樂團——傑優青少年打擊樂團的成員,也曾在工作人員均是心智障礙者的喜憨兒天使餐坊定期進行鋼琴演奏,目前則是高雄市星星王子打擊樂團(由自閉兒組成的樂團)的主要團員,並經常參加團隊表演及慈善義演活動。此外,尚軒還在文化中心舉辦大型鋼琴、打擊樂器獨奏會,演奏高難度的巴哈、莫扎特、肖邦等曲目。
4. 尚軒記憶力極佳無比,國內外各首歌曲都可任人點奏,而且不用看樂譜即能彈出動人的旋律。尚軒的媽媽藉此鼓勵家中同樣有自閉兒的家長們,要去發掘自閉症兒童的長處,然後藉由發揮這些長處來幫助他們走出封閉的世界。
5. 事實上,世界各地已經有許多專業機構應用音樂來治療自閉症兒童,讓他們透過音樂與旋律,學習適度與他人互動以及自我表達。在音樂世界中,自閉症兒與一般孩子一樣擁有共同的語言,就是音樂帶來的喜悅。
6. 由於尚軒的努力不懈及週遭親朋好友的愛心相助,他走出自我的世界,為世人演奏出一篇篇激勵人心的生命樂章,也活出了生命的尊嚴與價值,而且從他身上,我們再次證明自閉症患者可透過音樂超越障礙,在心靈深處相互溝通。
