在我和丈夫離開家去約會後，貝姬便忙開了。她把我的織品和十字繡盒子都翻出來，先在一塊紅布上繡上「我愛你」三個字，然後把布料剪成心形，把剪下來的兩塊布縫合到一起，再綴上一圈花邊，最後在裡面塞滿棉花。一個心形的枕頭做成了。這個枕頭傾注了她多少愛啊！我會永遠珍愛它。
大約13年過去了，那件珍愛的情人節禮物依然放在我臥室的一個特殊位置。女兒已經長大成人，這期間我無數次地將枕頭緊緊貼在心窩。我不知道一個枕頭是否藏有許多魔力，但我肯定，這麼多年來這枕頭給我帶來了無盡的喜悅。女兒離開我進入大學時，是它伴我度過無數個不眠的夜晚。我珍愛這份禮物，更珍愛這美好的記憶。
