戀愛沒天份 序
A little girl ~Joyce By Niki Chang

A little girl, called Joyce, gave me my first impression of the UK.

A year ago, while I was in England, I did not expect to meet many Taiwanese people. After living there for about six months, Irealized I did not have as manay friends as thought I would have. Let's get back to Joyce, one day; while I was registering for computer class, I heard a familiar voice that made me feel like I was at home. I asked myself, could the person be Chinese? While I was returning to class, I heard someone crying. This was the first time I saw Joyce. Poor Joyce was crying. After I found out why she was crying, I offered to assisst her. She was sad, because, she wanted to change her subjest but she did not know how to do it and she didn't know whom she could talk to? After this incident, we began to talk on a daily basis.

As the days went by, we became closer and closer. We both had the same idea; Save money! Life in a foreign country is always a little difficult. It is very difficult to find delicious food, and not always cheap. Sometimes, just to save money, some people eat like a bird. She was good at eating healthy food for a low price and would tell everyone how to do so. She was a kind person to everyone.

She is an energetic girl. I think that is one reason why she is a brilliant writer. She's also very romantic, and won't have trouble finding a partner. As far as I know, she had a very handsome friend. I know she wants to meet a handsome and lovely man who can treasure her, but then again who doesn't ? She was very popular in the UK and al the teachers loved her. During the last two months of class, we were classmates. I remember that when of my classmates was bored, she could always make everybody him or her happy. Maybe one day, she could try to be a comedian.

Let me tell you a funny story. She went to Paris with a tour group while in the UK. According to other people, one night, theywent out to a pub. Everybody seemed intoxicated and found that Joyce had passed out. Nobody could believe that she could be drunk with only one glass of wine. It scared everyone. They even called the emergency service to come for her. Finally, she woke up but she couldn't remember anything. After I found out, I told her that she should have waited for someone to kiss her, just like the tale.

Finally, I am very happy to hear that she is going to have another book published, Congratulations!!!
